After I took the spoiler off....



After I got it down to the metal. Note, the "green" layer is body filler. It had been patched before (look at the rectangular patch) and also had 1/4" to an 1/8" of variance in that body filler.

Just noticed in this screenshot that it has the 1/8" divot where some body filler came out with the spoiler when I removed it.

Looks like you had different contours coming together in that radius or corner there, that come out alright ?

Meh.... it's as good as it was before, LOL. Let's just say that I'm on the hunt for a GT hatch again.

Probably not the easiest spot for a beginner to start with.

It looked good from what I could see in the picture, but I know how tough those transitions can be to get right again lol.

Yeah, and with my "feel-o-meter" it feels pretty smooth. Then I primer it, and all the things show up. I dunno.... the key is, no water leak right there this winter. This song popped in my head while I was patching it up, lol.
