Yes I do. JB marine is a knock off of the original MarineTex. Most of the boats up here, carry a can or two for immediate repairs of cracks in wood, plastics, metals, and other things. Think of it like the Fles Seal paste. It fills, seals and protects. I've seen it used to patch the side of a block to get a boat home and it worked. I'm pretty sold on it after that happened. It gets super solid when cured. It does NOT work for repairing exhaust manifolds though. It burns off at a certain temp and gets really smokey

What do you think about this dumazz idea? What if I drilled through the side of the "towers" so create more of an anchor? Forgive my paint skills... just wanted to try and show what I mean. The blue in the side view is the epoxy, errr whatever. Tried to show it flowing out the sides a bit... maybe even throwing some tape around it might be an idea. The top view is intended to show how I'd drill it.

Again, sorry for the 3rd grade drawing.

Temporary parking meters.
Although the city may not like the temporary part. Once that find a revenue source, no matter how small, they tend to forget to end that source.

I wonder if I can buy parking meters and put them up myself....???

I've watched enough of that show "Cops" to know that the cops know how to get people out of vehicles to get the vehicle towed.

LOL, I wish. At the building that I work in, we got the city to finally put up 2 hour parking signs. You think they give a &*(*? Nope. The police came and got them out of here on Friday, and yesterday they started to congregate again. I've seen drug deals, fires, fist fights, and even a couple dudes playing whack-a-mole under the tree. I talked to a couple of cops about a month ago about a different subject (stolen property), and they brought up the fact the mayor has restricted them from trying to evict these guys. It has taken weekly emails (for the past 2 years) and meetings with representatives of the community for anything to show a glimmer of hope.

We have a warehouse about 2 miles north of here, and there is a HUGE camp next to the building. They have stolen water and power from us. I am trying to get a Comcast Enterprise EPL installed into that building, and they are even getting that project all messed up because they are living where some of the fiber needs to be located. I can't believe how bad it has gotten in the last couple years.

Was kinda thinking that Colorado would be a nice place to move to, then I saw that this is a normal commute?

I don't think so Tim.

I assume "whack-a-mole" is a double entendre that I thankfully do not understand?

It always seemed strange how in these instances one locality can't find any law that has been broken and the next one over always seems to be able to find something that is unlawful enough to get the people to move on without actually arresting them.
In the county I live the cops usually seem to just tell them they can park somewhere overnight but must leave in the AM. If they are not gone then the cops may intervene but I guess the low number of travellers may make it easier on all.
