Good morning thinkers- hope you guys have a good day- speaking of garages- i went with led lighting this time- it gets a lot of traffic, so the lights stay on most of the time.

I would've liked to have gone with LED, Bear, but at the time, there was still a pretty big delta in price in like-for-like lumens. Just like TV's, it's amazing how quickly the price/performance ratio changes.

EDIT: On a side note: It was too cold in the garage this AM, so I fired up the heater. It took the temp up 9° in 40 minutes. Not bad.

You can see my heater in the start of this video. I will say, however, I am NOT responsible for the hanging of the heater. At some point, I need to correct that.... it's not going anywhere, but it does bother me.

Do people often take the time to create an account just to write something nonsensical or is there a message here that I do not understand?

Good morning thinkers!- hope you all have a safe day at your salt mine!
Still talking about garage heaters, i still have a small salamander kerosene heater that i used in the past- it would heat up the old half quickly, but man, would you stink to high heaven afterwards, AND it sounded like a Phantom jet in afterburner!!
My Dad would take an old oil fired trailer house furnace, set it on a base to direct the air out the bottom, and heat his garage, but the oil gun nozzles were a bit problematic.
Oh well, gotta go now- keep your whistle wet fellers!

Good morning Bear... hope all is well in your end of the country.

I'm just plugging along.... kind of in a daze today. I pulled a muscle in my back last night while working on my daughters Escape. I took a muscle relaxer/nerve blocker last night.... and well, I don't usually do so well when I take one before bed. I hope it wears off soon, lol. My back seems a little happier though.

I pulled a muscle in my thigh the other evening just by turning and bending at the sane time. That's it!! I'm going to start getting back in shape! Sitting at the @#&$ computer so much for work is going to kill me.

On heaters: I often wish I had one of these from my Air Force days.

Hahahaha.... I have a bottle of Absorbine. It works well... both my Grandfather and my Father in Law owned horses (FIL was actually a very well known horse trainer), and they used that stuff on their horses. My Wife hates the smell, lol. So I don't use it as much as I'd like to... but I just might need to tonight.

Yep... sitting a PC all day in the same chair is not good. Since we have no snow, I keep thinking I should get my bike back out and ride around. As soon as I do that, it will snow though.... LOL.
