Bear, you are working for the paper mills? I've heard they are BUSY right now. Having a hard time acquiring paper right now.

yes sir, still having a bit of trouble securing the board to the lid because of its weight, 8lb sledge, 8lb splitting maul, hatchet, 2 splitting wedges, and a machete. All things I don’t use often enough to justify having them take up space in the bottom.

I'd think it would be just the opposite: Put the stuff you use regularly on the lid so it can be accessed easily, and let the other things languish in the bottom of the box until you need them.

well then you arise the problem of undoing the hose clamps EVERY time you need something like a hammer or anything else you use often. Just easier to have them in the bottom, ready to grab and use with any hassle.
