Me? I was just catching up on that subject. There are a lot of scammers that have been using Utah's KSL (much more widely used than CL). They claim to be sending you extra money for a "shipper" to come pick up the item and deliver it to them. They get your bank account info this way, and clean you out. My next door neighbor moved here from CA and they got him on it. Luckily he got the police involved pretty quickly, before they got into this bank account.

Well... I got a line on an 85 GT that's been sitting for 15 years. Going to call here in a bit and get more details. Hopefully it is in good enough shape, because it's been stored outside.

I came across a couple individual scams on craigs list as well, - bail them out of jail in exchange for the title deals.... Neither produced a title at the appropriate time as promised lol.

Not shrink wrapped.... but doesn't look too bad from the pics. But we'll see... I'm going to wait a bit to call.

What are you looking for, another project ? My oldest daughter had an 85 LX for awhile, way back when. It went thru hell from PO's, - it ran great tho...strong.

No explanation for it but even around here you can sometimes come across a survivor that was stored outside.

Yeah.... trying to find some cars to flip, or maybe even keep (I do have problems with selling cars). Just see if I can make a little side money and see where it goes.

Hell, your in Utah, - purchase a a couple Yankum Ropes (Pythons) and get into the recovery bizz with the 97. All you'll need is a lift, larger tires, bead locks, Detroit Locker for the front and a Dana 40 or 60 for the back to stay on top of that sand out there.
