Thinking
Late 93 (F4TE) blocks are roller cam and go thru the 98 F250 series. The van last year is 96.
Like was said, some marine applications run reverse rotations (right and left running engines in a twin). The big difference is the freeze plugs (brass), camshafts (spec for marine grinds), valves are usually sodium, difference carburetor (flame retard style), and not a hell of a lot more. Different exhaust manifold or heat exchangers, but the long block is basically the same. Not a hell of a lot of difference.

But this trailer thing, it's my first attempt and I thought I had it covered. It's a hassle, I'm making mistakes and it's costing me. I wasn't as prepared as I thought for cold weather....missed simple things. Granted, this is more less a test, but if I was attempting this as a solve for temporary housing I would have already failed. This is due to the weather as said. I was under the impression I had heat pads under the tanks, I don't, now one or more are frozen plus there is no water. That's a serious deal on this trailer because everything is sealed. It's a big job just to get at the stuff that's damaged or frozen. If I had a family here, I would have been renting a room at the inn until it becomes warm enough to fix. This trailer is new and SO-CALLED built for four seasons. BUT, only warrantied for 15* F.
The propane system valves froze while in service, the temps were only 5* in the trailer when it was noticed. Not just the regulator, everything that was out in the elements, pigtails, tank valves.....
I don't usually screw up on this sort of thing, but yea I did dangit. Anyway something to think about. Mother nature stole my glory, not really her fault. Any climate that gets below freezing, you better do homework. I was alright until the temps went into the negative digits. Or wait , it was 9 above when the tank froze the first time.

Brew, I got around to using the new Kleins. Very, very nice. I also used the pass-through RJ-45's which are a breeze.
I'm sure you'll get your trailer all figured out. It sure sucks dealing with Mother Nature when She is bound and determined to win.... because She usually will. I admire your efforts though, I'm learning a lot reading through your trials.

I'm about ready to head out, yea it's gotten worse. No water, not even a squirt. The pump quit working all together. I didn't have time to investigate further out here. But the trailer is staying heated. It's 72 inside, the basement is 57. I just turned the water heater heating off all together and hope that wasn't a bad idea, it should be alright. Not sure what's going on now, could be just a fuse I guess.
No, I just bought the regular style. The only strain reliefs I've used were a PITA to get the wires all lined up.... and I actually trashed the idea and went back to the original style, lol.
Where are you staying right now? With the GF?

Yep, for the last 4 or 5 months.
Ah well, better luck next year.
Happy new year!

Southern Indiana doesn't usually get too many days in single digits or negative so I may favor better than your colder MI nights lol
