Soooo.... my Buddy took the pan off of his 3V and found the pickup tube was plugged up with metal shavings. Looked up and saw one of the mains had metal falling out. This is what it was.... and he's going to replace it and see what happens. Fingers crossed.... but I've got my doubts.

I saw on a Facebook group yesterday that he had an accident on his bike so will have to use the truck more now,
So, it will either miraculously fix itself or there will be many more symptoms for us to help diagnose and have all the answers ignored because his dog said it cant be that....

That last comment from JCR on his page is freaking hilarious. Pretty much told him to drive, or junk it, lol.
I've been MIA for a bit.... my FIL passed away yesterday. Been a rough slide for him, so in a way it is better.
Bear, I have not looked at the journals with my own eyes, but my friend says they look good. Not too sure without seeing it myself though, lol.

Unnecessary jargon:
FWIW.... Windows 7 has some wonderful attributes to it. But the more I work with Windows 10, then go back to a 7 system, the more I miss 10's new features. I really like that 10 will allow you to mount an ISO image directly out of the OS rather than install 3rd party software.....

So sorry to hear about your loss White, our thoughts are with you and your family
I had an email over the weekend telling me my travel trailer had finally reached the UK and was being collected today...
Going through the trucks manual & fuse boxes yesterday, it looks like I might be a couple of relays missing, could someone help out with the types I need to fill in the slots, the connectors/wiring are there ready to plug into.
Exterior fuse box :
Position 203 - Trailer Tow Backup Lamp Relay
Position 302 - Trailer Tow Battery Charge Relay
203 is a small relay, the others are numbered F57B-14B192-AA
302 is a large relay, the others are numbered F0AB-14B192-AA
Do I have to try and find those part numbers or are there alternative ones I can try to find?
Ta
Adrian.
EDIT
Just looked on eBay, looks like there are loads of them available so I should have looked there first.... Doh...

Now an XLT in Colorado
White: Sorry to hear this. My wife is driving back to Ohio as I type this (about 15 minutes from her hotel - Google maps' "Share My Location" is a big reassurance) as her father is likely in his last days. Being 1400 miles away makes it a different scenario.
Adrian: Glad to hear your new portable home is almost there. Yes, relays should be standard. If you have trouble getting them, let me know. I probably have a couple I could post you.
I guess I'm missing out on some entertainment not keeping up with Skylar's antics in FB land. Then again...
PSA: If you're driving some (really) cold, foggy night, and the truck wiggles a little, then wiggles again, don't wonder if you left something loose on the front end when you replaced a bunch of stuff a week or two ago. Have faith in your work, assume it's black ice, let your foot off the gas, and slow down! It was really foggy and about 17°F. No problem, just a little pucker factor after that split second when I realized what it was.
