I wish this dude would hurry with my basement. He said when he started that I would be able to paint this weekend. He's down there right now working on it, and told me he'll be until next Tuesday now.
I got started on cleaning out the shop.... I really let it go this summer while I was working on the motor and the basement. I finally got around to mounting my grinder and my drill press on this stand. Been meaning to do it for a couple years. I got a new DeWalt vise that I need to get mounted to a table now. I've been watching Youtube videos on building a rotating bench to mount tools on. I'd like to build one for my vise and for my miter saw. (See Video Below) I also have a band saw that my Dad is giving to me.... but as I recall, it has a stand already.
It sure is. I can't believe they titled it "Top Amazing Idea". I hate using a real table saw with a real fence. Can you imagine the kickback on that thing.... especially if that wonky fence is slightly crooked?
OEM isn't available anymore, but Hopkins (who makes the quick plug in adapters) shows this as one that will work for the 7 pin coupler. Hope this helps you
talking about mounting a hitch, I'm getting my U-haul universal ready to;mount to the front of Red. I was looking at a Western plow mount, on another 98 F150 yesterday, and it is a very simple front mount system. 2 bolts on each front frame horn (already drilled) and it's mounted. It will make next year easy to put my boat into the water. I'll still use the rear hitch to pull it out of the lake, but the front to put it in. Better visibility and overall safety. All I have to do on the universal is cut 2 small ears of the side brackets, and bolt it up. It is already set for the 150 rear frame and the front is within 1/4 inch, so being the universal set up, I can move the arms out an 1/8th on each side and still be absolutely centered. Sometimes being a damn scrounger comes in handy. LOL
