Well the water came up about 10 ft and has most of my front yard covered so I can't get to those but I almost have the large oak across the driveway dealt with.

PortaPotty. Uh oh. Not a good situation when you have to use one of those instead of your own plumbing. At least you don't have to empty them. lol

Wow, just had someone crash my computer and gave me a number to call with them attempting to get a 100 bucks from me. Sounded like Microsft at first so I gave them a remote.

When they wanted to cash in, I was sumbtch, they are trying to scam lol. Wisses me off they were so good I gave them remote access.

I know what happened now, - downloaded a weed eater manual yesterday without paying attention. I ended up with the "Zues" infection, = maleware.

Be careful guys, heard of this happening in the past to people, - they are good on the phone. It's a tuff infection to fight, found out it shut down my services that actually do the fighting lol. PITA. Tuffest part is getting past the lock out.

Can't believe I gave them remote control, what a sucker lol. Luckily all important info is secluded from this comp.

Dumped all my temps, restarted services (Microsoft only) but hell , they can gain remote access any time they please now. Well, unless the firewall is doing it's job. Iduno, I'm just covering what I know which is afr from everything I should be doing right now. Maleware, still has my browser.

Maleware bites still the the go to ?

Got some research to do, - perhaps I'll use another comp temporarily...if that even matters.

Crap, they are trying to shut me down again lol. What a pain.

Hell, if it was me at that point and I was super nervous, I might even backup and reset (start from scratch). That's the most sure way. You have backups, right? Data not backed up is useless.

Barring that, yes, reset all your firewall rules and close any ports / security holes and do a very thorough scan for residual malware. Never have more than one firewall and or malware program running at the same time. They will collide with each other and cause problems.
