Bit of an Oops day yesterday...

Just as I was parking at work, the lower ball joint decided to give way, luckily I was barely moving when it happened

So, a quick order to RockAuto and both upper & lower arms for both sides are now on their way to me here in the UK

It did pop the drive shaft out so fingers crossed it didn't damage that or I'll be placing another order...

Luckily I have breakdown cover through my bank and the garage that normally looks after the truck is happy to have it in their yard until the parts arrive next week

Dang, Adrian! Very glad that didn't happen at speed and/or in traffic.

I pushed the like button not because I like that you broke down, but that you came here and told us the story.

By the way, That truck is way bigger than most English cars, is it fun taking the truck into towns or cities?

Yup, was very lucky, I use the truck pretty much every day, it's my only normal vehicle

To be honest, it's not that bad to drive over here, I've had it since 2016 and have got used to it now

I do also have this but it's even worse in traffic... lol

Hope that's not too bad Ohio...

Just kick back (no pun intended) and binge "The Expanse".....it's therapeutic now.

No clue how it happened. Doc thinks the semi-orthotic inserts I'd started using may have contributed by changing the way weight was distributed in my foot, and could've set up a stress that some impact, twist, etc. finished off. The timing is about right.
