I see your Pyramid sub there White. You pushing that thing hard with a Kraco head unit?
LOL... it's still in the box too. I "acquired" that, and was going to ebay it.

My Audi had a Blaupunkt head unit with a Kraco active EQ. I thought that was pretty sweet back then. They don't do audio anymore though, AFAIK. Just your basic Autozone add-ons and accessories.
EDIT: Audiovox changed their name to "Voxx", BTW. Kinda like how Goldstar goes by LG now.

Kraco is still around but I don't think they are making speakers anymore just car accessories. Audiovox became VOXX and they do remote starts and in car entertainment (like DVD players)
Here's a blast from the past for me. I worked at DOD Electronics for a couple months on the assembly line as a solder jockey. We made these Fosgate Surround Sound Processors. The idea was to use your existing receiver to create surround sound.... rather than buying a whole new system. Pics taken from ebay....
Fosgate , that's and oldy. Wasn't Fosgate and another partnered at one time. Fosgate was joined by another name on some products, can't recall that name.
Matsu****a/Technics/Panasonic.
I Had 12" Technics in custom boxes under the rear seat in the 98 with a kenwood amp between them. I have pictures on one my back-ups. Sounded great, fantastic base and crystal clear x 2. Had to give the rear a seat a 2.5" lift kit...yeay that was the max to keep it fully functional and look OEM.
I have a Denon surround receiver with separate 6-channel inputs out in the garage, along with a pretty nice Kenwood setup. I keep thinking I should sell them, but haven't even tried short of asking the pawn shop what they'd give me, which was $20 apiece. ..

The Sony's I had at one time looked like that except the EQ was where the display is on that one. But yea, they both had those surround sound options. They would blow, one output (speaker connection) at a time. Domino affect until all I was left with was front speaker connections..A&B. They burned up rather quickly. I most likley could of fixed them, replaced the audio board or output panel. Didn't tinker with them, looked for blown fuses, but yea, that was all. Both only lasted 5 years, purchased new.
So what usually blows , then no more sound. The board or is it simpler ?
Well I got lucky and found 2 speedi sleeves for $28 + free shipping so I went ahead and bought them. I was going to chance it but decided against it. I do NOT want to open this rear end back up for another 5-10yrs
