Thanks! I'm going to have to make another trip to the scrap yard now.
Ford changed a lot of stuff on this model part way through...

I checked out my truck yesterday. UI have the light sensor that is on the surfboard. I also have that plug with the loop of wire.
What I don't have is DRL's... Not that I can figure out.
I turned the thing on the sensor all the way to the right. My hope is that the sensor will keep that lights on. Nothing. (But. I forgot to undo the battery.)
It's undone now so next time I go by I can check again.
I will check fuse... 19..? (I'll check them all.)
Ware can I find the fuse box? And ware can I find the map of the fuses?
I don't have an owners manual.

You need the DRL module. That plug with the jumper is where the DRL module plugs in. The DRL for 99-03 is under the surfboard. 97/98 is located in the drivers side fenderwell.

Sigh....
I got the right modual today and nothing....... I plugged it in while the battery was unhooked. Plugged the battery in.. and it doesn't work. I have the battery unhooked now. (I ran out of time.) The modual is installed and I will check tomorrow after work.
Is there anything I can test with my multi meter? What pins in the plug should be hot and how to test the unit?

I took that thing apart to see what was inside. This is what I found.
I have no idea how to test it.

You still need the DRl resistor block that is behind the headlight. The link has the part number you need to purchase to make the DRL's work

Thank you sir!
I have one of those resistor blocks sitting in the back of the truck. I'll get it installed in a day or two.
