i think thats the next step! Did your harness have 4 pins and the board have 5? Its definitely the factory harness and has never been messed with.

Will http://www.ebay.com/itm/141598926830...S:1123&vxp=mtr fit? Looks identical, harnesses are in the same orientation. But it says "AK" and mine says "DK"

Mine says DK why not see if the yard has it first id rather pay 10-15$ then $40

damn vultures, i looked today couldn't find one, i looked because i wanted to replace it because its cracked anyway. I wonder if Dk and AK will make a difference.

I have a similar problem on my 01 Screw.
I need DRL's to get my truck through a safety inspection.
I understood that I needed a modual from under the front Dr side fender.
I picked that up at the junk yard today. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and post it. I will have to look under my dash now to wee what I have there too.
I don't recall ware I heard about the front modual that I picked up today. It's been a few years since I worked on the truck. Or even thought about it.

so all I need for drls is a module from a junk had and plug it in?
