That's the part number carcrazy gave you the one you have I think is the right one I just think it's just bad or has something on it I spilled dip spit on mine a few years ago and it would cycle my lights on and off at a rapid pace until I cleaned it off very well I think you should just find or buy a new one and plug it in dollars to donuts it works fine

your 100% right i found the part number on ford parts, theres no picture so I'm just going to have to wing it that its right. Coulnt find a single eBay one that looked like mine, anywhere for that matter, for now I've just removed and I'll keep an eye out for one i guess.

Mine says YL3T-14A597-AA
last part of the number is the same as yours, same patent number, but mine has a 2 under the Ford emblem, yours has a 1?

yeah! Weird... I'll try and find one like that, so far no luck. I seen to find the ones that go above the dash. I think the ford parts is the right one, but no picture so I'm kind of skeptical. I appreciate you looking at yours for me.

I dont know whats wrong, i did pull the board out of the sensor and it acts as it should in the auto mode. I replaced the switch assembly and all functions work. Here's a picture of the setting I'm talking about, are they supposed to come on? I would think not, it almost feels like a broken ground not completing a circuit... Idk, any help is greatly appreciated. **note - I added the surfboard with the sensor so I'm not sure how they are supposed to function, i was under the impression they work like normal but will now work in the auto position. Hopefully you guys can shed some light on this issue.. Thanks! also when I bought the truck the headlight switch assembly had the (autolamp) function but no surfboard w/ the sensor. Weird, I'm stumped.
i have a similar problem
