The 99-02 requires the autolamp module. If you go back to your pictures you'll see a orange jumper wire with a black connector. It will plug in there. Try to make it back to the junkyard and see if the module is there in the truck you pull it from. From what I can tell it will work from a expedition/navigator also as long as its 99+

sorry no, when the headlight position is set to off (no headlights) they are on if the sensor is plugged in. Take the sensor out and they go back to normal.

what module am i looking for? Its in one of my pictures?

Read my edited ppost above yours. That will fix your issue. I'm to familar with the the 99-02 as far as add-on. 97-98 I am. My 03 has everything and is practically stock.

okay I'll go grab it tomorrow, does the other end plug into anything? Or is it just a module? You've been more then helpful so thankyou! I've been pulling fuses and checking everything lol

Was that only 99-02? I don't have anything plugged into that jumper wire

It will plug right into the connector. Its what controls the timing and function of the autolamp system. maybe 2003xlt can get you a picture of the module, as my 03 is currently sitting at Ford for warranty work.
