I'm not looking for a 600 hp Truck since it will be my daily, but I want a screw and I can't afford a 12th gen so this looks like the best option.
To be honest navigator heads leave a lot to be desired. The huge intake ports and long intake runners will make great torque and decent power. But 2v can make the same with similar costs. A new trans won't fix the pep. The problem is the torque converter. Navigators have a factory 1600-1800 stall speed. The F150 converter with a 5.4 and a 4r70 is a 1100-1200. If I keep the scab and buy a Screw for a daily I would but it depends where things are going. I will never give up my scab. I have plans but involve a diesel.

Which motor? I've seen a couple pretty sweet 4BT swaps in these.

I actually was looking at torque converters last night, I was thinking about a 1600-1800 or maybe 2300-2500 stall. I probably wouldn't keep it stock. But it is going to be a daily driver. Eventually I would like to add boost but nothing crazy, probably just 10-12 pounds. I haven't looked much into rebuild kits, just briefly at the ones from monster on there website. Looks like they only make a 450 hp kit and a 600 hp kit. My goal is 450 hp or a little less but I'll probably end up going with the 600 horse power kit just to be on the safe side. I just don't want to dump the money and time into my engine when I know I'm gonna sell the truck eventually and get a screw.

6.4 seems less complicated, no ficm, common rail, go single turbo..way easier
