Because I got a $6000 short block for $3350 lol. The guy bought every single option and it came to $5700 or $5800 if I remember right.

What would every single option be? Lol and I'm pretty sure that all you would need is the 4v heads cams intake and timing components and you'd be set? The 4v uses the same block as the 2v.

compression ratio is off with the 2v piston dish, wouldn't work with a 4v

What's different between the Pistons? And don't the 4vs run flat tops?

I have a list of parts in my build thread, not trying to clutter this thread up much. I've never looked into a 4v,maybe on the next toy. Trust me,this won't be the last truck or last motor,I plan on atleast 2 more trucks to cover all my needs.

stock Lightnjng (the short block he bought) has 8.5:1 CR because of an approx 18cc dished piston (iirc).
A 4v like myfx4 is building with flat tops will be around 10:1

Ahh okay. That makes more sense now. Other than putting flat tops in, is there a way to increase compression even more with a 4v? To above 10:1? Different heads or something? Just wondering if y'all know.

Right! A Wrecker and an Ambulance.

That would be nice to have at least two anyway. Another around in case you get brave with the go anywhere peddle.
