Engine Builders talk.
As always, blown 2v is the easy way out. Although I don't think it's a very efficient combo, it's solid guaranteed Hp for your money and there's No fab work needed.
I just wish there were a kit made for the 5.4 that was plug and play. They've got a somewhat kit for the 4.6 Mustang conversions but it's far from Plug & play yet.

I've talked to Todd Warren about a high compression 5.4 4v swap and he's completely on board with it except no one knows any solid numbers and the best combo for a truck. All the talk is always Street cars or Blown Lightning 4v conversions.
I'd be absolutely happy with 380-420fwhp from an NA 4v so long as I had good Tq down low where I need it for towing and a 4x4. A stock Navi Intake is still the best out there for low end grunt but nothing eles in the setup with help with that except compression and minimally a set of basic off the shelf 4v cams.

I like these trucks as much as the next member but that is just ridiculous.
I have a 429 block in my shop just awaiting an RCSB F-150 with a crown Vic front clip to live in. It'll be going full cobra jet. But I don't want a 10th gen. Anything 64-96 will be at risk of a good time.
X2 I'm also curious
That sounds like it's gonna be awesome. I wish I lived closer to you. I wanna help lol
