I am somebody with an ugly black flatbed. So I know from experience. I'd fix the dents and paint match it, but it takes the most abuse out of any area on the truck, having steel, barbed wire, fence posts, and pallets slid around on it all the time. I think it'd look even worse once the white started getting scratched up. If it wasn't a work truck it would already be paint matched like on our F-450.

I don't think it looks bad. Like you said it's a work truck, if it's PTM it's gonna get scratched up. But idk for some reason I still prefer black on flat beds

It just looks soooo much better PTM. It's just classier IMO.

Default Engine Builders talk.

Would yall recomend deleting my egr. I have a programmer to account for deleting it. My truck runs lean on bank two and i havnt been able to pinpoint the problem, i have the a 2002 5.4 had the precats only run into a Y pip but recently had to gut the cats because one went bad, this is just until i get everything straight an paid off to afford new high flow cats. The trucks run lean for awhile on bank two. Inspections isnt a problem because i live in South Carolina

I'm thinking if it was an egr related issues it wouldn't run lean on just that bank. I would check the intake manifold gasket first

Intake leak, like an egr stuck open, would cause p0171 & p0174. Or lean on both banks. More than likely, either there is a leak present on the exhaust manifold or the gutted cat is causing the downstream O2's to throw a code. Since you already have a tuner, I would get a new tune that deletes the EGR & rear O2's. As well as block off the EGR, dpfe hoses, & disconnect & cap the egr vacuum hoses & disconnect the electrical connections. You still want to replace the cat or remove them all together so you have even exhaust pressure on both sides. I don't have cats or egr. Disconnected, blocked off, removed & turned off in the tune. Never had any problems with it.
