That truck is no heavier than mine so I wouldn't be worried about weight. In real comparison the 351 Windsor/Cleveland, 351m/400m, and even 390 were all dogs. Especially in pickup applications. My motor is still extremely strong for having over 160,000 on so I would feel bad destroying it with boost. I've been keeping an eye out for a cheap oldie to put it in, if anything kind of a gift/project for my dad

I still have a V2 left over from my last Mustang and it was still on my mind. I meant to say blower generically.

Yes, I mean monster in a box pre-built. I had one of their trans in my old Mach1 and it never gave me any issues.

Monster trans are built down here by me. I'll stick with my Suncoast built E4OD.

Id like to copy ibd's 4r100, but I'll probably end up going with a Lentech like 4x4dave is running. Gotta trash the original first. Running it until I let the smoke out of it.

The 4r100 looks like a pain in the *** when ours will more than suffice with where we're headed

Would be, but the durability and the coolness factor are off the charts. LOL. But yeah, a mild built 4r70w will be all I need in my build. I'm curious to see how the stocker with 187k holds up to the abuse of boost & large tires just with the cooler you sold me.

I think it was Factory Tech who first offered them. Monster has really grown since then. They have kits for the 4r70w as well. They probably have for awhile, I was just recalling when they first came out..Damn pricy, even back then .

Correct. Factory Tech first offered upgrades for the E4OD/4R100. I went Suncoast because a known builder is local. If I had the option I wish I had a 4R70. Just for the snappier converter ratio even tho the gear ratio's are very similar.

Would the local dealership have lack adjusters and rockers on hand or do I need to go ahead and order them? I believe that's all I've got left to buy
