Yeah it's not rocket science lol we did this to make sure it was, in fact the head gasket before I tore it a part. Just took the small hose hose off the overflow tank that feeds into the radiator and blew some air through it. Coolant shot out and bam, my fate was sealed lol

Right, well you won't have any coolant in her this time correct ? Not when you check it anyway. You may want to put some Mr Bubble in a squirt bottle and give it a squirt around the matting surface seams. You know, - in case you can't hear the leaks if it's doing so.

Hope it doesn't turn over, - yea , that would be too much air I expect lol...

Can someone point me in the direction of finding out if my 01 5.4 has a forged crank or not? I know its out there but all I'm finding is some do and some don't.

Something is wrong withh the heads or the deck surface inst correct. Did you use thread sealer on the bolts that go into water jackets?

I didn't use thread sealer on them but I never did on my 2v either and it's still holding. I used it on the studs the first time around though so probably still had some in there.

Really confused though on why it's leaking still.. gotta be bad heads or block deck.
