A wiring harness and it plugs right in. No need for an engineering degree if you can undo a 10mm bolt and plug a new harness in.
It does Require double the budget for the heads tho. I'm not worried about the wrenching part, I know I can do that haha. I guess the part about me going to school and trying to get a job In engineering was useless information tho lol.

Speaking of 4vs do you have any updates

Depends on how much work you do to the heads. I paid I think 300-350 for a 3 angle valve job and resurface, 150 for cobra intake cams (not required) 300 for new valves and springs, and can't remember how much for new lash adjusters and rockers (not required either). Definitely under a thousand bucks into my heads though so I don't think that's too bad.

If you do a valve job and throw cams in a 2v you'll be around the same price as what I did without cams. (Cobra intake cams are good for like 10-15hp at a high rpm btw)

That's not as bad as I thought. Do you know the lift and duration of the cobra cams?

Default Engine Builders talk.

I have no idea. Just read about them on a mustang forum and figured for 150 bucks I'd try em out.

As far as my build goes, I have the heads stripped. Just have to unbolt head studs and unbolt exhaust and the heads will be off to replace the gaskets. Went with Cometic .030 thickness gaskets this time.

That sounds like a good time haha I can't wait to see that thing done. What type of numbers do you plan on putting down?

Sounds great man! What are the specs on the cam. Sounds like you got a good amount of overlap.

Story of my life. Well, as far as degrees go.. Haha. Basically you don't need a degree to be able to do something, you can do it and know how to do it without.
