No you're fine. I appreciate all insight from those with more knowledge than myself. Yes I am still currently NA. I was discussing a vac system for the blower swap. If I had the time, I would redo it all by hand but I have little allowable downtime. Hopefully In the next month, I'll mount the HE, IC pump, and reservoir, as well as all the plumbing for that and the wiring for the pump. There was a point where I knew every single item for the swap in my head by memory. Now, sitting down with a pen and paper, I can't even think of Half the parts. When the time comes, I genuinely will need the advice, knowledge, and experience from members like you.

Would a PCM out of a 99-03 plug right into a 97/98 and work correctly?

I have a 5.4 so I have COPs already. And can't PATS be disabled? Other than that, would it plug in at least?

Thanks! That's what I was looking for, a friendship with quality I guess. When you have someone attempting/willing to help you, helping them understand what exactly your after can net good results. It doubles the respect and yea, makes it fun. Well that's how I look at it anyway. Definitely all about keeping my info real and correct when it matters.

I know what you mean. When you start a big project, bigger than most, you often need breaks, snacks, the right mood and of course cash flow. All can slow you down. Sometimes I'll quit working on her, then sit down in front of the computer and search for parts, information until I feel like going back at it again. Just say the word when you need help. Helping another can get yourself back into the working on it spirit again.

It should plug in. But i believe you'll still have to take it to the dealer.
