Mine was only around $350 for a valve job and decking.

Just called my shop,$250-$300 for the heads. Not bad, that'll put me at $1700 total labor for the motor.

Just saying i wouldn't be able to work on it for a week because of testing. Lots of math in engine building.

He does have a point, all the relevant and informative post are getting cluttered up behind bs.

In order to build a twin turbo 5.4, what all would be required? ( one turbo per manifold )

I'm guessing all forged internals? Or what?

Derek, come on, calculus in a build thread?
Well, - I can understand that, jferg singled me out when all of you do it. But it's more than that right now. You know how hard it for this guy to lay under the truck and take drive shaft measurements. Then PCV, IAC, breather etc..

I did all that for ibd because he asked me to. I asked for specifics on the drive-shaft measurements, -no answer. So I crawled under the truck and took more than just one just in case. It was a PITA doing that with a tape.

Then , never answering PM's. Since he obviously doesn't need the info anymore, you don't just dis the guys helping you get it. Who does that?? Nevermind, I know the answer. Sorry this happened here, but like I said, man on man doesn't work with this guy, he runs away. Runs from taking responsibility for his own actions. That's the REAL BS.

It'll end here, doing that to me or anyone els for that matter just isn't cool.
