Thanks man, I've heard these guys are hit or miss. My train of thought is that lentech specializes in 4r70's so their product would be better. But maybe some folks on here run this brand? I'm all ears. I know nothing about transmissions.

Yeah some of the information I read this forum is far fetched, i know most the folks inside this thread are much more mechanically inclined, so I'm hoping someone on here runs or has some sort of experience with a lentech or monster transmission!

Yeah lol, better the transmission than my engine. The truck spent 4 hours on the dyno so the engine is 100% dialed in. It shouldn't have any detention so im just at the mercy of the rods. I think ill be alright for another 6 months on the engine. It'd be best to do the transmission first anyways

Where you been Dave?!

And a word to the wise, unless you know the shop has a good reputation with the transmission you need, stay away from local shops. They all say they "build" with heavier duty parts but I believe 90% are liars. Motorcraft would be better than some of the "built" components they ship in from China. I have personally seen this be the case on 2 friends vehicles. Buy online from someone who has good experience with what you what and really does make a stronger unit

Just been keeping my hands full with the truck and work lol. Yeah im on the same page as you. I'm staying away from transmission shops. If anything they will just be installing my newly built which I buy from a reputable shop who specializes in 4r70's. My tuner may know of something, ill ask him too.
