Look into some one who specializes with Suncoast transmission products. And have them build it. Monster transmissions is relatively local to me, so if you choose to go that route and something goes array, I wont hesitate to spread it around. I myself have a Suncoast built 4R/E4OD setup. I am completely happy with it, just dont get one of there billet dual disk converters. Go with a PTC converter geared towards your setup. I have one now thats been in there for about 20k, and love it tremendously. There is also John Woods.

 

Think I'm going with Lentech. It will require wheelbarrows full of cash, but should be worth it. Id rather pay once and get it done right. Some of the guys on LR say its a pretty stout transmission, plus there is someone is running a 10sec ride on that transmission lol.

 

Are you sure its not a lenco transmission you're talking about?

 

Anyone here need a price break on a diablosport chip? I'm selling my old one. Could be useful if you guys are swapping to 4v's adding more fuel, larger injectors, turbo's etc...

I switched to an x4 tuner last week. But it will come pre-loaded with my last blower tuning strategy on it. It'd probably run pretty good with 42# injectors and a 90MM maf. It's not married or locked to vehicles like the SCT devices. It will require a local tuner who uses diablosport, but he can just flash over my tune with no issues. To return vehicle to stock, just pull out chip lol. Also have a basically new 90mm MAF if anyone wants.

 

lol yeah, it's 100% a lentech. They specilaise in 4r70w's. I just went over this whole deal over at LR haha. Lenco would be sweet, but I probably wont need a 1500+hp rated tranny with trans brake etc... Not yet atleast lol

Who? Lentech or lenco lol? Not sure on the specifics with lenco, but im sure they are rated as large as your wallet is lol. Neither company is cheap.

For lentech they say up to 1500hp on the race transmissions. I'm set on doing the street terminator (700hp). I will not be getting a trans brake or anything either lol. Apparently Johnny lightning performance is an authorized seller, so im thinking about pulling the trigger in the next few days.
