OMG another problem....
Well I will go dealer and get price on all parts needed to do job myself, then I will make calls on a reman Ford engine, then decide on what is what. On my scan tool I can get live data, so what would I look at that shows the timing is all shot to h!%#ll. Thx for info
If you are out of warranty an want to do the repair yourself first rent a car so you can get around then disconnect both posts on the battery and remove the front timing cover an see what part/parts are broken/loose/worn out. U may have a stretched/worn timing chain or more damage ?

Yes no warranty, I bought truck 9 months about and found out not well serviced, it has 300,000 km, so I have access to a 2008 f150 with 140k km and truck was rear ended to bad to fix. If I pull it out I can get engine and tranny complete for 1000 and all parts at dealer wants 1300 to do phasers, chains, guides and adjusters and few other parts, so I'm woundering what way to go, any thoughts would be great, thx
Lifting the cab/body leaves the job at the shop equipped with the equipment. You could part out the undamaged parts off the front of the wrecked truck and this all takes a lot of time to pull off. Wasted time and money mostly. Just pull the front off your old motor an see whats bad. Ultimately unless you have a lot of space you will become like a Mo. farmer with a lot of rusting junk setting out in the field by your place ( a retirement junk pile) best left to auto parts yards. Ultimately having to install a reman motor is a far better direction to take if the front of the motor is down in the pan broken an ground up. Then you can own/drive and trade/sell a fine machine some day years down the line. If the front of the motor is just loose but still intact with just chain wear/phasar replacements the dealer fix is an excellent choice with his warranty work an future help with your truck. Dealers stand by their repairs & he will put you in a fine machine, you can then move forward confidently.

Well guys I have been pulling **** apart all afternoon and no puller to remove cran pully off to remove front cover off. It seems that chains are nice and tight in place, but I do know that the L and R on phaser should be in middle of 2 links. The drivers side is but pass side is not. I try post pics but can't. Also couple things, does the power steering pump connet to cover and also needs removal? Plus if I discharge ac can I run it emty for winter?. Is there another way to remove crank pully with out a puller, it's a long week end and not sure I can find one before Monday. ..thanks for any info.
Don't discharge the AC. Many do the Livernois system with their tune to simplify this. [url]http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product as a permanent fix that actually works helping the engine survive old age with lots of reliable power. If you choose this pay attention to your phasor brand an possibly get the kit for both brands. They replace the bad springs with wedges that lock the phasor movement an replace the solenoids. Both of which can be pita's and take the oil pump out of play.
