6 inch lift help!
Typing/thinking out loud right there has me thinking 2 things. Why would they make a specific 2wd kit if you could just use a 4wd kit? Also, I know there is something different with the spindles between the 4wd/2wd trucks.
GOT IT! Took me 10 minutes extra to research this but I ended up looking at the Fabtech instructions for the 2wd lift vs the 4wd kit and they are different. The spindles are completely different. Your 2wd truck has like one piece hubs or something like that and the spindles have something built in to them. (look at fabtechmotorsports.com for the 04-08 2wd lift instructions and compare them to the 4wd ones)
Overall, I highly doubt it would work out unless you got the right spindles...and they are a very important part to the lift...haha. The only other thing you might be able to do is convert your hubs to the 4wd one piece ones and then you might be okay...Someone who knows more about the difference between 2wd and 4wd knuckles will have to add some info here....

I dont know but just thinking out loud here I dont know how it would work since the 4wd kits have drop brackets for the front differential which you wont have. Maybe you just dont have to use them...Also, the new spindles would be a different size. The rear shouldnt matter any since itll be just blocks/AAL and a drop bracket for the E-brake line. So the front would have crossmember drop brackets, rack and pinion spacers, strut spacers/coilovers, sway bar drop brackets, and the new spindles. So you wont need the differential drop brackets and the differential skid plate.

Wow..they are including the CV shafts and the lower control arms? It looks like a RCX kit. Ive never seen a kit disassembled like that...crazy. I still dont know if it will work with your 2wd hubs...
It has to do with the spindles and hubs... Here read this...It is almost like what you are looking at but the member GatorB8 has the comment you are looking for...

He said the 4wd coilovers are 2" bigger than the 2wd ones...So I dont know if they will fit on your truck...It might be like having an 8" kit on your truck...and if that is an RCX kit, that will probably not work.
