if this gets done I will do it myself also. Just to confirm we are just talking about the plenum not replacing the intake - so no power increase just a much meaner, better looking engine bay?

Correct, I am keeping the stock air box for now.

Just added the Throttle body spacer from AFE and regardless of what I read I have to say throttle response is better for me for sure.

We it is together and still running! No leaks, so far. LOL

Basically replaced and rerouted the heater hoses, vacuum lines and trimmed the GT cover so that it would fit with my stock intake. If you have a CAI, you will only have to make a similar notch as is on the left side. Take a look.

I just need to find some of that hose protector mesh. (What is the name of that stuff?) and then strap some of the hoses in place.

Now, where did I leave that beer.

Now why couldn't Ford think of that. They must think truck owners don't care about how the engine bay looks vs. the hotrod Mustang owners. Come on Ford wake up.

Great mod.

Looks absolutely awesome! How does the cover mount to the engine area? Is the picture an optical illusion or does the cover look higher in the front compared to the rear...or is it actually level?

it lookslike the heater hose on the right side runs along the side of the rh head. how close to the exhaust manifold is it and where is the one one the lh side?

nevermind, I think I see it over the lh valve cover
