According to my dash...I'm at 19.3 MPG...

Put my first full tank in yesterday at lunch, drove home yesterday evening and then back to work this morning. (33mi one way).

2014 XLT 4x4 6.5 bed, HDPP w/3.73.

The real test will be next moth we we make a trip back to Ohio. Comming back, I'll be pulling a 5000# camper...

Gain a little going down a hill/mountain and lose it back and then some going up a hill/mountain. There would be a lot of difference in mileage driving in say Florida and West Virginia. I'm in Tennessee and that's bad enough. I don't know how much they take this into consideration when they're calculating mileages.

Your stingray is a heck of a lot more aerodynamic...and the "tested" model's a lot closer to what you're actually driving.
Then the window sticker should not show 23 MPG highway MPG. Which is exactly what the window sticker claims. I cant believe they can get away with a lie like this.

My Stingray gets better than the window sticker for MPG

This Truck farther from the claimed MPG of any vehicle I have ever owned. This includes other trucks. Every truck I have owned has been 4x4, crew cab and longest bed I can get. This thing is 4 mpg low on the hwy. Yet gets the claimed city mpg. Seems to me that is where the extra weight of 4x4 and crew cab would come into hurting the mpg. Takes more energy to get it moving that it does to keep a steady speed.

This is traveling the southern states on pretty flat ground.
my best out of my 1999 f250 4x4 with the 5.4 is 15.7. Pulling light trailer is around 14.5. Heaviest loads around 25-30,000 gvw are in the the low 12's. For the most part I love my truck. Mileage isn't what I was expecting out of the 5.4. I thought it'd get better than my 6.0 liter Chevy but no luck, and less power by a long shot lol but at least now I'm driving a Ford!

@Probity. Seeing +22mpg on the last two tanks hand-calculated with mixed HWY and surface road driving, at $5.7K mi. My trucks spec's are in my signature but no complaints.

I recently drove approximately 600 miles last month from northwest Indiana into Michigan. According to the MPG screen on my dash, going to Michigan I averaged 18.4 MPG. Coming back I averaged 19.7. Did 70 MPH for about 2/3 of the trip on the interstate, the other 1/3 was 60 on two lane.

I just got my best mileage over a tank. 20.3 mpg with 65% hwy at 70+ mph. I typically see 19 mph with a 50/50 split from hwy to city driving. Truck is a 2015 King Ranch EcoBoost 2wd with 17k miles.

I haven't had time to read back through this whole thread but wanted to enquire into. My round trip today and the mileage I got. I was surprised by how good the mileage was. Drive out was into a stiff headwind but that only helped on the way home. The return trip included 25 miles of slow to stop and go highway traffic. 99 percent highway mileage I know but none with cruise control. Also been using premium as I've tried both regualar and premium and I do see a mileage improvement and I also tow a lot. I managed 25.5 mpg over 184.7 miles. Pretty impressed. This is the 3.5 ecoboost.

My 2013 F-150 reg cab 8' bed 2X4 I bought used in 2015 has gotten 16.5 around town on lousy California gas, and 23 out of state on the highway at 65mph. 19 at a little less than 75.
3.7 V6 in a basic no frills (roll up windows, et al) truck.

I'm not sure my '05 Ranger 4 banger ever got too much better.

I'm happy.
