Pistol mount
where did you get this bracket style mount? I’ve been looking for one like this (would just have bought condition 0 if they were in business) and have been struggling to find a suitable replacement. I’m not big on magnets or the barrel rods for wear and meeting concealing standards.

Good option if you don't wanna drill into the console, and just want to keep it in a secure spot:

Or, if you just want to mount a holster, something like this would probably work

I have been carrying a Sig P365 in the center console tray for a while now while I am out and about. I am wondering how others carry their gun or if they found something that fits into the center console that is better than setting the gun in the tray? I had a Alien gear holster mount in my 2016 Platinum but would like a insert or something that would fit similar to a Pelican case or similar. I am wanting to start carrying a Glock 17 MOS with a reflex sight and light instead of the smaller gun. I don't like wearing a holster while driving
Sorry if this has been posted multiple times. I searched guns and came up with no threads that looked similar

Installing a magnet mount inside your console on the side closest to you would do the trick. Could install it or another magnet somewhere else for easier and quicker access.
My Ruger EC-9s is small, so I usually set it (in it's holster) in the tray next to the gas pedal that runs along the side of the console. I never leave any guns in my truck unless I can't legally carry into certain buildings, and then it's locked in my console.
I've never felt safe with the idea of a truck gun that always stays in the truck, but to each his own.

A folding stock long range communications device “reach out and touch someone” fits well behind the SCrew rear seat.
Personal protection devices are kept on person for me. On long drives in cool weather, ankle holsters are great. In shorts weather on long drives, the console side pocket is fine for me since it will be on me when not driving
Throwing a light and a holosight on a pistol makes it a rather large package. The magnet mount in the console is good, a locking safe console is better. Once you get the pistol too large for easy concealment, you won’t be carrying it much so a safe is a good choice.
