Pistol mount
Maine , New Hampshire and Vermont all have carry conceal laws now that make it legal to load up like the fredo bandito...carry all you want. I was headed to Bass Pro in Bow NH and got stopped. The first thing the woman officer asked was ? Do you have any weapons in the truck ?
But get stopped in Massachusetts with a firearm. Concealed or not. Go to jail. Go directly to jail.

I'm enjoying the slightly off-topic banter.
I ordered a Stealthgear appendix carry holster 4 weeks ago, still waiting for it to come in. I'm hoping appendix carry is comfortable while driving, because I can't seem to do IWB at 3:30-4:00 while sitting in my truck without a backache.

Just a quick point to make on leaving one's pistol in the truck if, for whatever reason. I lost one like that, and I'll never leave one in there again. Few years ago, I had just bought a 2011 F350 King Ranch diesel, and decided to leave my Ruger LCP in the console before going into a local Best Buy.
Came out and got in the truck, and the gun was gone. There was no obvious visible damage outside or inside the truck. Cop came to make the report, and said to check my driver side key lock. Sure enough, it was destroyed, and I had to look hard to see any kind of evidence of foul play.
Point is, the key locks on our trucks are trivially easy to just jam a screwdriver into and the door unlocks. Thinking that locking the doors provides any kind of security is an illusion - if someone wants in, they'll get in, easily. Think about it. It's really not worth the risk. Oh, and the truck repair bill, including repainting the door, ran just under $1K.

But you can make things very hard to find. If you don't know where my linkage is to drop the rear passenger seatback, good luck in your search.
And, no, I'm not going to say how I hide it, use your imagination.
See my Post # 11.
Now, for all-day storage, like at work, don't forget about the hideout storage behind the back seat. Especially if you don't have a sub-woofer.
Appendix carry is certainly more comfortable when sitting - however if needed good luck getting to it in a timely fashion. I agree with a few others - the left side door well - or in my current truck (Ram 1500) I have the 40/20/40 front bench (same as will have on F150) and I keep it under the fold down middle seat/console.
I like appendix carry as I can draw easily from behind the steering wheel, but my wheel is at least 4" away from my body.
Right now I've got a broken hand, so I'm carrying left-handed. But normally I carry right-handed. I liked an IWB holster, but often I use a slim kydex paddle holster that clips easily to the driver's door pocket. That seems to be fine, and I've checked and observed that it's hard, looking through the passenger window, to see the pistol clipped to the driver's door pocket.
