Just a word of warning on using that system. We in Texas have to carry concealed in the car too. If the cop can see it while standing next to your truck, like it is now,it isn't concealed.

I am smaller in size, but similar gear setup. Access while on the hip is less than ideal, even as a lefty, and the seats are starting to get a permanent indentation of where the grip is pressed against the seat.

I've considered the Blackhawk tech mount installed someplace in the truck, just hate to drill holes. Regarding 09_XLT's concern about security in the event of a crash or the likes, just get a lvl 2 or 3 retention holster. Problem solved.

yup, that's why i like mine between the seat and the center console. Only way it's visible is if i'm out of the vehicle. but if i'm out of the vehicle, it's on me.

I have used this in two vehicles including my truck. I rotate it further down than what the photos show. Readily available and out of sight even when I'm out of the truck. It has a thumb strap that secures it in the holster.

I really wish you would close this. I'm really tired of someone asking a gun related question and a small number of us trying to give them answers. Yet, the real, useful information is drown out by liberal tree hugging and know-it-alls quoting law from two different countries. We are all on this forum to help each other make our trucks better and spread useful info. Part of carrying a firearm is knowing when its safe and appropriate to do so. The comments left on this forum are not going to sway someone either way if they want to carry a gun.

Texasfx2 if you would like to hear some ideas. Please PM me i will send you pics and i promise no judgement.

It looked to me that you got PLENTY of suggestions and pictures. Sure, some of the canooks had to throw a wrench into things, but it was brought back on track fairly well.

What else exactly were you looking for?
