Yep.
Road rage has decreased too.

Exactly. I wish our idiotic courts would throw out every lawsuit that someone files because they got hurt while committing a crime. There should be a law prohibiting that.

With all the juice coming out of this we need a good ol' American "Lets see your truck with your guns" thread
Even if you're kidding I think someone on this forum is working on building a center storage compartment for rifles. I can't remember what thread it is.

I just shove mine in it's paddle holster in between the right side of my seat and my middle console. Works fine LOL

Also these guys make multiple solutions built right into their seat covers. Their high end covers look bad ***. http://www.wetokole.com/gtote.html

In a lot of states you are required to tell LE that you are armed if you are stopped for any reason. In gun friendly states the officers for the most part aren't bothered by that. In others (California comes to mind) if you have a CCW permit and inform a police officer upon being stopped you may find yourself spreadout on the pavement with a .40 cal being pointed at you

Actually, I would LOVE to hear why open carry is retarded. I get a good laugh out of you guys.

I'll listen to your argument then I'll come back with a rebuttal.

I won't say it's retarded. I see open carry as good or bad depending on the circumstances.
Bad- It does spook some people especially now with the recent shootings. It could lead to wasteful 911 calls.
If someone really wants to start trouble and they see you before you see them you become the first victim since you are their only visible threat.

Good- I have heard stories that someone was going to start trouble but saw a person open carrying and decided not too.

I'm sure there are a dozen arguments for and against open carry.

I have been doing it for about 4 years now and never had a 911 call on me. Unless you have done it yourself, you are just guessing about people being spooked. More often than not, people come up to me and ask about it. If they were spooked, they would not approach me at all. 90% of people are too busy going about their own business to even notice what is on your hip.

Another misconception. There have been numerous studies done where criminals were asked that if they had seen an armed person in the place they were about to rob, would they have done so anyway? Almost 100% said they would have moved along to another location to commit their crimes.

I have had a few instances where a situation would have escalated had it not become known to the other individual that I was openly carrying. It is really amazing how the guy's attitude changed after spotting my firearm. I didn't even have to say a word. They just apologized and went on their way.
