You got 1.6 back on July 28th, not sure why you haven't received 1.4 yet given your trucks age. I think we are all still waiting on BC though.
Confused. I got 1.6 but not 4? Isn't that going backwards?
Thanks for helping....
Yeah, but that part is totally normal. Myself and I would say 90+% of others I check get 1.6 before 1.4. Why? I have no idea. But like I mentioned earlier in the thread, it helps not to look at the version numbers in the typical fashion of one supersedes another, they are more just content packs and so far aren't reliant on a previous pack being installed. So 1.7.1 could come before 1.4 which then comes before 1.6, and it shouldn't matter. They target specific modules of the truck for changed functionality. Unlike a Sync update (which has a separate version number) where it always targets the Sync software, so any higher version should contain all the changes/fixes of previous versions.
So no, not unusual that 1.6 is there but not 1.4, but I am surprised you don't have 1.4 yet.

That'll fry your brain as John Q Public.... sheesh.
I'd just like new maps and BC. Ford Maps say they are updated quarterly and annually but my last 2 Fords never showed a road that has been here for at least four years. Bugs the heck out of me.
Thinks I'm off road. They built that road year ago and the gps thinks you're off roading.
What's the correct name for the 1.4, 1.6, etc. updates? Power-Up updates?
What I'm understanding is that the Sync version, which we can see ourselves in the truck and on the Ford Dashboard, is not indicative of what Power Up updates the truck has. Is that correct?
If so, is there a way for the average Joe to track down which Power Up updates have been applied without asking a Ford employee here? I know on the Dashboard, I can see the Sync version, but that's the only thing listed in the Updates section of the Dashboard. If I called my dealer and gave them my VIN, should they be able to tell which updates have been applied?
This screenshot summarizes my experience trying to update Sync 4. The Ford Pass app Sync update link redirects to a 401 error and it turns out they can’t even get that right lol.
