The last OTA you got was 11/1/22. Based on your Sync version your are behind, but you are getting updates. Nothing to do but wait for Ford to send you the next one.

If an F150 gets stuck in an update, will it appear that the modem is not connecting? We have a '23 Powerboost that has had the modem go off-line twice. The first time, it was off line for about 24 hours. Nothing we could do would get it to show it was connected. Then, suddenly, we get in it the next day, and it was working.
Now it has gone off line again. The FordPass app shows the last time it was connected was 2-17-23, 09:25. We have scheduled a service, but it is going to be near 4 weeks before we can get it in. This happened literally the day after we paid for the "Connected" service subscription (which almost makes me wonder if that precipitated the problem).

Your truck being a 2023 was built with all the latest software already. I highly doubt an OTA was sent to your truck. If you post or PM your VIN, I can check for any DTC's your truck is recording as long as you have your Fordpass set up.

Your truck has recorded a few DTC's, but nothing with the TCU that indicates loss of connectivity with the modem.

Weird.

Are the DTC it has shown something that we need to be worried about? Does it have anything to do with "reduced power, or 4x4 won't work"?

I forgot to mention earlier, but after I made my post yesterday, I tried something I found in some other threads about modem issues. I went out to the truck after it had been parked overnight, without the key fob, and opened the door with the mechanical key that is housed in the fob. When I opened the door, of course the alarm went off. Went and turned the alarm off with the key fob, got in, and started the truck. When I started playing with the connectivity, it would then see our home Wifi network, and connect to it. Then the "no cloud" indication on the Nav page disappeared. But I still couldn't engage any of the Nav services. It let me check for updates, and said there were none. I had to get ready to go somewhere, so I shut the truck back down and got ready.

When we came back out, the truck had absolutely no connectivity again. Not to wifi, wouldn't even "see" the wifi network. Never indicated connection to the cellular network (in either instance). At this point, we still haven't been able to get it to connect to anything again. No wifi, no cell.

Every truck I have checked throws out some DTC's including my own. I saw nothing you need to be concerned about. The problem you are describing is new to me. though. I am not sure what to tell you about that.

A little more confusion to the mix:
Wife drove it this morning, it was not connected at all.

I finally got a chance to try the previous procedure again, this evening. Starting about an hour ago. I went and unlocked the truck with the key again. Unfortunately, it had not been locked or alarmed, so the procedure was broken immediately. So I locked it with the fob, put the fob outside of range, unlocked it with the key and opened the door. The alarm went off after about 10 seconds. Silenced it with the fob. Got in with fob, started vehicle. By the time I navigated to the connectivity screen, it was already showing it was connected to our wifi. I played around with it a while, trying to see what all worked. I could actually view owners manual videos. So it was definitely connected, although I did NOT have navigation capability (which we paid for on the 16th, the day before the Sync went off line; on Ford Pass it shows our subscription went active 2-22, 5 days after it went off-line). I watched a couple videos, while texting my wife that it was connected to wifi. About the time she came out, it dropped wifi, and I couldn't get it back.

Sooooooo.... back to square one. Shut the truck down, locked it with the fob, put the fob out of range, unlocked with key, opened door, alarm went off, silenced with fob, got in and started with fob, and it was reconnected with our wifi.

Good God, this is frustrating.

So.... I made sure auto-updates are active, scheduled at 1am any day of the week, wifi was still active, and I shut it down.

I'm going to leave it completely alone until tomorrow morning, and see what the status is. I'm HOPING it stays connected to wifi overnight, and maybe can sort out what software issue is going on. Because it definitely seems to me that it is a software issue.

Thanks for your help.

@dogboye reading your posts, I'd try to unplug the TCU behind the rear passenger seat, let it sit unplugged for a full day, and plug it back in. It has worked for a few others with connecting issues where a simple reboot in Forscan doesn't.
