Good day rugedraw, I had to wait the entire week, but the module is now installed and all is working well. Can you do one last check and see what you can see and let me know what Sync software version is running if you don’t mind. 😊

I see the APIM replacement and they did it right from what I can see. Good stuff! Your truck has not synced up with the cloud yet, so I can't see your Sync version. Go to the "about sync" page on your touchscreen settings. You should see Sync 21146. If that is the case, you're good to go! You are still very far behind, but you will start getting updates and be caught up little little.

I can now confirm Sync 21146 is installed with Revision 145. And now, only you can tell me if I have all the recent updates. Thanks again!

No, like I said, you truck is far behind. However, the next time the your VIN comes up in the servers for an update to be sent to you, you will get it. There is no way of knowing when that will be.

It could be days, weeks or months. There really is no way of telling.

Hello. And thank you for all your information. F150 2021. Automatic updates button greyed out and had the dealer check and they replace TCU and initiated a module recovery process. However, 9 times out of 10 auto updates still greyed out but 1 time it showed blue (on) but 20 minutes later checked and it was back off.

Can you check my VIN to see if it is one of those problem VINs?

Thank you

Your modem still appears an unauthorized. However, the reason you cannot enable auto updates is because your truck is on Sync 20301 which is old bad software known to break the OTA process. The need to manually update your APIM or diagnose it as faulty and replace it with a new one. Otherwise, you truck will never get an update.
