Not sure what to do with the center channel, if anything.
I'm not keen to add amps, I'm just going to upgrade the speakers.

I would like to hear how much difference you see with just the speaker change.

So has anyone added the Kicker Key 200.4 with plugandplay kits harness and had no issues in our 2021's? Im reading about a few problems with his harness, and Im reluctant to spend the money.

I’ll let you know in the next few weeks.
I put these exact same components in just the front doors of my MKZ and it made a HUGE difference in clarity. Not so much for helping the bass.

my big dilhemma is where to place the tweeters. I want them in the open for sound, but I want the truck to look stock too.
For the front I was thinking of making holes on the sail panels, because I’m sure those aren’t very expensive to replace.
no sail panels in the rear doors, though.
Do the trucks with B&O systems have speakers/grills in the sail panels? Maybe I can buy some that were made for a nicer truck than mine and hide my tweeters behind those.

I bought a pair of Infinity REF-3032cfx so I can use one for the center channel.
They came with 270 uF capacitors.
Would you use them, or no?

I plan too, and probably an MTI enclosure under rear seat.

if basic system, you shouldn't need too.

Turned my 7 speaker system into a 9 speaker system.
Was real nervous about cutting holes in brand new door panels, but I’m happy with how it came out.
Center channel didn’t seem to make so much difference but worth the cost.
I have the other 3.5” available if someone wants to buy it. It’s 3-ohm. $55

Ship me your old center channel speaker first and I’ll even solder the connector on so it’ll plug right in.

How is the imaging with the tweeter in the sail panel? Thinking of doing the same thing.

I don’t have a good ear for imaging. I don’t know.
I added the kicker sub upgrade. I wish it was more powerful.
The highs and mids are super clear and crisp and you don’t miss a single hz in that range.
So many cymbals and chimes that get lost in crappy speakers.
After spending $700 on the Ford authorized Kicker upgrade, I kind of want to go bigger with the bass, though.
If I was just adding it to an untouched system, it would probably be enough.
