The damage is kinda crazy and unusual, and people have questions, we see this kind of post where the OP doesn't come back after a few posts and people start to question whether it was a real thing or someone making something up (yes even these pics could have had the damage caused deliberately)

When a guy is down, some like to kick him a bit more. That's all I need say about that.
Myself, I'd like to know the root cause, and how it's going to be remedied. Wish you luck with it.

This is a real problem. It is a real truck. I have posted pictures. I don't know how else I can prove it.

I can't speak for any others.
I believed you in the initial post; why would you lie about something like this?
The damage looks to me that someone (may have happened before you bought truck) had a collision or impact that caused the lower control to contact the frame with enough force to cause a tear in the flange with the mounting holes. Once the tear started it could only get worse over time and eventually it failed. The paint damage and rust to the frame above the lower control are signs of this.
Certified pre-owned, ford certified, certified advantage, lexus certified pre-owned, Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Program... none of these mean much of anything.
Here is an actual car lawyer video about it.

I don't know where you live but I do know a couple body and frame places near me that would fix that and I would bet there are some near you also.
I do hope you get it fixed to your satisfaction.

Thanks, kinda skimmed thru.. Understandable now why Ford is telling him to pound sand. He needs to buy a case of beer and go see one of these guys offering their welding skills!

I would get that welded without hesitation.

Still curious why it looks like the head of that control arm bolt is missing. Coupled with the scratches it almost looks like... some took a sawzall to the bolt? Previous owner? Ex wife?

Possibly a very drunk junkie looking for a catalytic converter?

To be blunt. Your first post said that you were pulling into a parking lot and the front wheel let go. Then said that the dealer want's 14 grand to fix. Anyone with even a minimal amount of automotive repair experience knows this is BS. Had you said...Been out jumping all week and it finally let go in the parking lot and the dealer wants 14 grand for a full frame replacement. That would have been believable.

Your post implies the frame just let go which is BS (one look at the photos shows it's been beat), and any decent repair shop can fix that spot on the frame for a few hundred bucks. None here have had the same opportunity as the dealer to see what other damage that frame took while the arm mounts were being trashed. Not calling you a liar, just giving a direct answer to your question as to why someone would be skeptical. Maybe the real question should be whether a teenager took your keys for a while and had some fun.
