Back on the road. Need an alignment and a good inspection of the rest of the suspension. Cost my less to fix than the two cam bolts did. Towing twice on a flat bed my largest expense.

They welded the piece that broke back on and then plated it. Then painted. Ford Tough my ****.

Honestly it looks like someone pulled a Luke Duke and jumped that truck high enough off the ground to slam the control arm into the frame and crack the control arm mounting tabs all the way through when they landed.
I'm going to venture a guess it had brand new front struts when you bought it because the original ones were blown from a real hard landing?

If your insurance company and the dealer aren't offering much help it might be time to retain a lawyer. Yes it pains me to say that. I do feel the dealer bears responsibly in making sure any vehicle they sell is safe for use on public roads.
Your truck obviously wasn't safe for use and had severe frame damage.
he’s definitely not bsing, I just had the same thing happen to my 2018 f150, the front passenger bracket let go in a parking lot, everywhere I’ve went so far has quoted me approx 15 grand to repair. Ford dealership in town has let me know that mine is the 7th f150 they’ve had brought in, in the past year where the bracket has broken at the front passenger tire. Ford Canada is of little to not assistance nor is insurance.

same here. Turning into my driveway full lock on the steering wheel I heard a loud crack. I went forward five more feet and one more cracking sound and the wheel was up in the fender well. Same cracked mount on drivers side as other pictures show from other posters. It looks as though the bolt on the front side had been sheared off causing all of the stress to be on one side of the mount. Pulled the front axle out of the differential too. I am just glad it happened in my driveway and not on the highway.

I reported it to the NHTSA- This is a REAL problem.

FYI- this truck has never been abused- 124k miles at time of incident.
