Sync 3 Memory Issue
On my wife's Fusion, Sync started getting REAL slow (taking about 10s to respond). Master Reset did not fix it, but an APIM replacement (out of warranty) did fix it.
[QUOTE=js312;7418799]Was Sync slow to start up before? If so, did the new APIM improve that? I ask because mine has been slow since I bought the truck.[/QUOTE
it was slow to start up at times. It seemed like every time I started the truck I would get a different symptom. All symptoms including the slow start up have been resolved (so far) with the new APIM.

When you say slow, how slow is it? On my truck, Sync stared getting sluggish (taking a second or two to respond), but a Master Reset slapped it back into shape.

After I go through all the BS pop-ups, if I stop at a store for a drink or what not, I have to do a restart when I get back in the truck to get the touch screen to function or listen to music. I have the above issue as well.
Unless the dealership has a trick up their sleeve, it looks like we need to either replace the APIM or hope a new update is released soon.
