I agree. It seems that there are too many of us having the same thing happen at the same time for it to be hardware. Seems like a software issue hopefully. I haven't been able to have it keep all its marbles long enough to update over wifi. I just tried with a usb stick (says I'm on version 3.4 21194 (truck says Build 22251) and it seems to keep looping through the first part of the install and not do the 2nd. Should I pull the memory stick out of the usb when it starts the 2nd part? I'm trying to install 3.4.23088.

I hadn't intentionally done an update in at least a few months - mine's on 22251, which I think matches the last version I installed with a USB drive. I'm wondering if it grabbed a partial update over WiFi that messed things up. Though I've never had a Sync update happen this way before, only map updates which come piecemeal over the course of a week or so.

23088 is when my problems started.

I wonder if doing it over Wifi caused the issue. I remember it recycling over the course of a week trying to do the update. I ened up moving my truck close to one of my wifi APs and leaving it running for an hour.

Apparently there is a TSB'ish for something like this. Posted in this thread, last page .https://www.f150forum.com/f118/recur...539949/index2/

I'm getting that off of the Owner's area of the Ford Website. Here's a screen shot:

Add me to the list of '19 owners with the same issue. Started last week. Lost my voice prompts also when navigating.

Interestingly, fordowner.com says I'm on 23088:

...but the truck says 22251 with no updates available.

I'm betting it got or partially got this 23088 update over Wifi just before this started, and that it's a bad update.

Does anyone have the 22251 (or 21194 as stated on the website) update file? I'd like to try to reinstall the old version to see if that would resolve it.

That's what the Ford site says and then what my truck says.

It would be nice if Ford allowed you to redownload files.
I've had issues with NAV d/l where something didn't work and they wouldn't allow me to d/l it again. Once with a Sync update too, I had to contact them, then I went to a link and d/l'd it again. Even if I could get the previous version, I don't know how to install older files.
