Just creating a USB to update to Cyanlabs newest software. 2019 with Sync3/ Nav.

This is what I followed. When you click on the first link, there’s a detailed video that explains the entire process.

Follow Step 1 (you do need FORScan but it's) and first part of Step 2 (Daemon Installer only) and then as Step 3 add the rwdata Cleaner mod from the following instructions.
Step 1 - Jailbreak (Step 1 in the following link)

Wow. People try to contribute to the community in a positive way, and for free, and all you can do is criticize. Sad. This group has been welcoming, helpful, and supportive of each other in an amazing way. You’ve quickly made a reputation for yourself otherwise.

I’m guessing the word “free” was accidentally left off. I wasn’t, at all, upset or concerned about “but it’s”, and it didn’t negatively impact me figuring it out or successfully resolving the SYNC issue.

 

Just quit responding to the guy and he will pick up his toys and leave. Zero reason to waste time on people like him. I imagine he will puff up after reading this and keyboard bash me but that’s his deal until the mods ban him.

I don't think we need all that if we just make the update USB via SyncUpdater3???
I think we only need that one tar.gz file and SU3 makes us the USB and we can update our sync as is?

 

You could be right. I just followed this method and it worked for me.

 

There is no battery/CMOS battery in the APIM.
