Sync 3 Memory Issue
Mine is too. I have had so many issues with them. For my camera issues, they found and referenced a TSB then completely ignored the process and just swapped cameras without calibrating them. Then they seemed totally baffled when I complained that I lost my 360 view.
I found a better dealer but they're over an hour drive.

Just a thought and possible option.....
The thread liste below is a long thread and it was created for those on SYNC 3, V3.2 and prior who wanted to upgrade to SYNC 3, V3.4. I mention it because this thread also includes information on how to re-install a previous build (SYNC 3, V3.4 build xxxxx). I think someone in this thread stated they were on SYNC 3, V3.4, build 22251 (I believe that was release in year 22, 251st day of that year). Anyway, you can revert back to a prior build version if one were to do a bit of digging in the attached thread. You will also find all the files (from FORD) in order to create a USB to revert back. I'd suggest turning off OTA (Over the Air updates) if you revert back or it will automatically be updated again. Anyway, just thought I'd mention this as a possible option for someone who is willing to spend a little time to read and assemble the files to revert back to a prior build number. In my opinion, some of the people in that thread seem to understand SYNC better than the Ford support line. Good luck to all of you.

Has anyone done the steps below? I got this from the Ford chat that I initiated a few moments ago.
Start with a Module Reset, please remove any USBs from port and follow instructions below:
Select Radio as the Input Source.
Hold the Power button (center of the volume ****) + the Right-Seek (>>) button at the same time for up to 5 seconds.
The display will indicate when the module is resetting. You may then release the buttons.
Next, is a key cycle.
Turn the vehicle completely off. The vehicle engine should not be running and the vehicle should not be in accessory mode. Many newer vehicles will keep the radio on, even when the car is turned off, until a door is opened.
Open the driver’s door and lock the door.
Close the driver’s door.
Wait two minutes and ensure the radio display turns off completely.
Restart the vehicle.

I just tried this and it didn't help anything for me either.

Tried that even before talking to Ford.
On the bright side, my Apple Car play is noticeably faster lol. If it wasn;t for all the pop-ups, I could tolerate this, but the pop-ups and b/u camera acting weird are getting annoying.
This has happened to way too many people for this to be an APIM issue. Isn't Ford on this website?
