The Leveling Kit Thread
I ordered a set pre assembled Bilstein 6112’s and Icon UCA’s. I’m getting rid of the puck style spacer and going full coil over. Does $300 seem like a fair price to have them both installed?
I’ll be installing the Bilstein 5160 rear shocks myself. I’d do the fronts and UCA’s too, but the needed tools cost more than my quoted install price.

Seems reasonable and will come down to the shops hourly rate. I just had 6112's installed and flag time was 3.8 hours which included removing the top hat and reinstalling with the new shocks and springs.
All in I was a little under $600 labor for the 6112 install, 5160 install and SPC alignment kit install. There's cheaper places around but this was a friends shop who's work I trust and his success I care about. Alignment was another $85 at a shop down the road.

$300 sounds like a decent price for a shop.
Don't forget a front end alignment.
I had my truck done yesterday & thank you to everybody who answered my dumb questions & posted pics of their setup. I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's exactly what I hoped it would be.
This is my 2018 3.5 ecoboost, max tow (3.55 gears). Bilstein 5100's set at the top 2.1" setting up front, 5100's in the rear also. Tires are Toyo Open Country AT3, 285/75/17 load range C, on Method 305 NV Machined, '0' offset. No rubbing at all on the street. Crash bars & wheel well liners haven't been touched at all. Haven't gone off road yet, but the tires MIGHT rub a tiny bit if the front is compressed in a turn. I also bought the Hypertech speedometer calibrator which worked perfect. I didn't verify, but based on the flow of traffic it seemed like my speedometer was ~5 mph off before I corrected it. Next up is some Talons Garage skid plates whenever they catch up & get some inventory.

Sorry to sound like a noob.....I bought my truck used a few months ago so I have no real info on it. How can I tell if it has a lift or level kit on it? I know I can measure some things, but I do not know what to measure, or what the stock numbers would be for reference. Its rolling on the Stock 20's, with 55 Series tires. I don't have the exact size memorized, but I believe its 285/55-R20. I don't have any rubbing or anything that I have noticed. If it matters, its a 2015 XLT Super Cab (Rear suicide doors) 4x4 FX4 Ecoboost
