The Leveling Kit Thread
Appreciate it! Would definitely like to swap the rear bumper to something black. Just waiting for the right one. Grill, the jury's still out
The note they mentioned is if your hub to fender measurement is over 22 inches. Mine was exactly 22 inches. I guess some packages must come with some leveling kits from the factory. But no problems at all with this kit. I've always used readylift on all my trucks.
Not really a big deal, I don't use my truck in a way that the suspension is at full droop, probably ever.
I believe that is why most of the Brand Name companies have moved to a 2" level as max, to avoid any potential coil-to-A arm contact.
No idea how you guys are fitting 35x12.5 r20.
With a 2.5" level, 1.25 faction fab wheel spacers (excellent quality product BTW) and ready lift corrected angle control arms on FACTORY SPORT WHEELS.. 35's DID FIT.
But...
Under zero static load or compression there was literally a 1/2" of room lock to lock before rubbing the crash bars (front bars primarily)
If I were to hit a bump in a turn or even a pot hole driving straight, I'd 100% hit the crash bars under suspension compression..
It was a no go and took the 35's off immediately...
(Yes I tried spreading the crash bars with a porta power, and that did not pick up much more than a 1/2" of clearance
I did not feel comfortable spreading too much because I don't want to bend the frame welded bar mounts and possibly tweak any body or frame components)
I need to make up at least an addition 1/2"-1" of clearance on the crash bars (primarily the front) to safely ride on 35's.. UNDER ALL MOMENTS OF ARTICULATION..
Some plastic trimming is fine by me..
I'm now wondering about the bumper off crash bar flip, and debating if will allow me the proper clearance I'm looking for.....
(insight 🙏 welcome)
Any input is greatly appreciated..
I'm now ALSO debating about designing replacement crash bars, something beautiful, not a backwoods replacement..
Anybody interested in this or who wants to collaborate on this design is ALSO welcome..
I have a CNC, mini mill, and a 3D printer for RUNNING test pieces..
I'd be fine with cutting the crash bars out if I could slip in a set of replacements that meet or exceed OE spec.. (I NEED THESE SPECS)
A preferable design that accounts for leaving the bumper on for the fronts and cab undisturbed for the rears..
If an offset crash bar were available to me today, especially with a ford stamp on it, I'd be slamming my money down to get a set..

Hi everyone-So I think i screwed up. I ordered some Fuel Vortex QL's that measure 20 X 10 /6 X139 mm, -18mm offset, for my 2016 F150 XL Supercrew only to see that at least one of the calculators i found online say that my truck actually is a 6 X 135. Is this correct? Am I gonna have to cancel my order before they ship or is there any way I can make it work?
Any pics? Is there any chance things won't move as much as you expect under compression?
I'd send a PM to fvierra27 his setup sounds very similar to yours. I'd be curious if he had any words of wisdom
