Default 35's on 2.5" Leveled 2018 Platinum?

Hey all...

I was looking around the forums a bit but didn't come to enough of a conclusion to order parts.

I want to put 35x12.50R20 Duratracs on my 2018 F150 Platinum with a 2.5" leveling kit. I know that I will need wheel spacers and 1.25" is the smallest I can go without cutting studs.

So the plan is to put Bora 1.25" spacers and the 35" tires on the stock wheels. Will that be enough clearance where I don't have to cut the crash bars?

Thanks!

I think you will rub with that set up but I'm curious to see how it goes. It will be very close.

I think you will rub. Mine fit, but my tires are not as wide as yours and my offset matches the stock offset. I could definitely be wrong, but I think that adding the spacer is going to increase the likelihood of rubbing. Looking forward to seeing how it works out for you.

I run 35x11.5R20 Ridge Grapplers on my 17 Platinum (stock wheels) with roughly 2.25 level and no wheel spacers with no rub ever. I have not cut anything. I think your chances of rubbing are higher with the spacers.

I ended up renting a porta power and spreading the crash bars 3/4”. Probably the fastest modification I’ve made to a vehicle 😂. No rubbing with 1.25” spacers.

Looks great! I can't believe you got those tires on those rims. I've got the same rig and was wondering what my options would be

Those proportions look perfect. I love big meats on a little lift.

I been wanting to do this for years now.......
So the purpose of the spacer is to get it away from the upper control arm where it might have rubbed & the added benefit of the tires sticking out- wider stance?
Would this setup worked without the spacer?
Did you try tires/spacers before spreading her?
Thanks, Ed
