That is good, that it can also improve off road performance, due to more lift in the front.

I just looked out at my 2005 that's loaded with tools, and it sits dead level, and I thought, "Hey, my old truck has got style, without even trying! HA!"

You could try the "claw hammer crash bar adjustment method".
https://www.f150forum.com/f118/fixed...360363/index2/

The amount of movement available with the crash bars also explains why some guys rub and others don't, even with similar setups.

Even though I don't have a rubbing problem...right now...I'm doing this adjustment anyway next time I rotate the tires!

how’s the ride now?
Retorqued everything tonight. Was able to get a bit more out of one of the lower ball joints. Could not get it to pop no matter what I tried. Ride is still as good as stock. I'll have it aligned this week.

Fox Stage 1 kit gave me right at 2" of lift on the front. With the new Wildpeaks I'm sitting at 40" in front and 40.5" in back.

Default Level with drop shackles?

Hey guys,

I had a local off-road shop put the 2.5” taller bilsteins in the front (5100’s I think?). Wanted a perfect level but now after around 7k miles they have settled quite a bit and I swear it’s not much better than factory again. Measured today and there is still a one inch difference between the front wheel well height and rear wheel well height. Anyone else here that’s done a front level AND a rear drop shackle? A 1” should be perfect. Just curious. Don’t really want to take a block out. I tow from time to time and use the bed of the truck. Any help is appreciated!

I did. Had the front 5100's set at the .71" setting, and a 1.5" drop shackles leaving the blocks in. Only thing I'd warn about is it doesn't take much weight to make these 150's sag.
What do you want to know?

Wmflyfisher, any modifications to the crash bars necessary with your set up? Looking at the same tire size and the Ford Performance Fox Leveling Kit. Thank you in advance. R/s Mark.

Your truck looks@Wmflyfisher !! Mine will be similar when I get my tires. Speaking of tires, did you need to do any modifications to fit 285/65/20's with no rub? I have the same wheels and was considering that tire size but concerned about rubbing. Also, what did you do for level? I don't recall seeing it, but could have missed it if you posted.

TIA.

Good to know. I think I will install tow bags so that should take care of the sag when towing. Appreciate the reply! I guess I was just making sure there wasn’t a better way to do it without starting all over. Which brand drop shackles did you use?

Airbags would work well. I used Ford Performance, they came with 2 degree shims. I think it's "Ground Force" that makes them for Ford.
