The Leveling Kit Thread
I've had the same questions with a 1.5" vs. a 2" level and asked here and the installer. Everyone has suggested the 2" level which will leave a slight front rake which is what I want. And it puts less straIn on front-end parts. My OEM rake right now is at 2 3/4." I also asked my installer and they use the RC billet by default and have said exactly what the consensus is: 2" level leaving about a 1/2" to 3/4" rake and hardly noticeable. You'll need an front-end and headlight alignment when you're done..
I haven't had to align headlights in years but you can ask the alignment guys what they do. There is also a method of pulling up to a plain wall 20-25' or so and aim them but I don't have a reliable distance or height to adjust your lights and some of the adjustments screws are hard to get to. Try YouTube and see if there are any vids on this.

Aiming headlights is easy on these trucks since there isnt any horizontal adjustment. Only vertical. Before I had my front 5100s installed I parked the truck in the driveway about 20 feet from the garage door. Put a piece of blue tape on the garage door and marked the center of the hot spot of each headlight. Took some chalk and marked where I was parked in the driveway. Then I just measured the stock height of the front fender. When I got the truck back from the installer, parked in the same spot, remeasured the front fender. Had about 2-1/4" increase in height. So I went to the garage door and made a mark 2" higher than the stock height. Used a drill with a long screw bit and moved each beam. I havent been flashed after a couple weeks and I drive in the dark every day.

Same truck with same tires. Swapped struts and shocks to Rancho QuickLifts and switched to Fuel Trophy wheels (20x9 with +1 mm offset). I'm replacing the Ranchos with the Bilstein 5100's tomorrow. I may also add a block to the rear.
