Hints, Tips and Tricks

My dad has a 2015 SuperCrew Lariat. I haven't had time to research this for him, but thought I'd ask to see if anyone has the answer... When he stops the truck, turns it off and opens his door, the passenger door unlocks, but the back 2 don't... The child locks aren't on (as far as I can tell)... is there something I can change to make this work for him?

Me either... He wants all 3 remaining doors to unlock when he opens the driver door after turning off the truck. He gets sick of unlocking the back doors for passengers (especially since it's always adults back there).

I know I have to press the unlock button to open the rear doors when existing the truck. I have never had to let my front passenger out though... I think it opens when the interior handle is pulled. I'll have to verify that though...

Press the lock and unlock buttons on key fob for 4 seconds, turn signals will flash twice to acknowledge the change. All doors should unlock now with one press.

After all they are adults.
If I have the car seat with the grand baby back there. I just hit the unlock button on the door as I get out. No big deal to me.

I think you are trying to disable 2 stage locking. When using the intelligent entry when I picked up the truck it was annoying trying to put stuff in the backseat without having to use the physical key.
From the manual pg 66
Press and hold both the lock and unlock
buttons on the remote control for four
seconds to disable or enable two-stage
unlocking. Disabling two-stage unlocking
allows your entire vehicle to unlock with
one press of the button. The direction
indicators flash twice to indicate a change
to the unlocking mode. The unlocking
mode applies to the remote control and
keyless entry keypad.
Intelligent access at the driver door will
unlock your entire vehicle when you disable
two-stage unlocking.

I think your right. Must be a programming setting.
When I put my hand on drivers door handle only that one opens.
When I put my hand on passenger door handle they all open.

On my platinum I have it set to unlock all 4 doors when I put my hand on the driver side door handle and it unlocks all 4 doors when I stop and exit the vehicle.
